Le Ceregne Bio<\/strong> is a family-run organic agriturismo in Tuscany<\/strong>, where daily life, working the land and hospitality are all part of the same story.<\/p>

I am Giada, a young farmer<\/strong> who inherited from her family not only a farm, but a way of life. With passion, I transformed this place into an innovative project that brings together tradition and the future: organic farming<\/strong>, solar energy<\/strong>, rainwater collection, digital tools, a vegetable garden, Wi-Fi and free-range chickens. A solar energy organic farm in Tuscany<\/strong> built around respect for the land and the people who live on it.<\/p>

And I am Elena. I arrived here more than fifteen years ago<\/strong> and immediately fell in love with this place. I chose to live here, bringing my professional experience in hospitality<\/strong>. Today, Le Ceregne Bio is also my home, a place I helped grow with care, attention and love<\/strong> for people.<\/p>

The name Le Ceregne<\/strong> comes from the Lombard word Ceregnole<\/em>, meaning cherries.
Cherry cultivation has deep roots in this area of the Valtiberina, going back more than 1,400 years<\/strong>. Today, cherry trees are still present on our land and symbolize the deep bond between our agriturismo and the territory.<\/p>

Our story begins in 1901<\/strong>, when the Fontana family moved to this farm.
Purchased in 1923, the land has been cultivated with love for over a century, passed down through generations. Today, together with my parents (Giada) Antonella and Luigino<\/strong>, we continue this legacy with the same spirit. We grow olive trees, vines, vegetables and wheat for pasta, and raise poultry and farm animals according to organic farming principles<\/strong>.<\/p>

Our organic agriturismo in Tuscany<\/strong> is located in an area of great historical significance.
Once inhabited by the Etruscans<\/strong>, and later by the Romans<\/strong>, these lands were used as a crossroads between Arezzo and Rimini. The area is mentioned by Julius Caesar<\/strong> in De Bello Civili<\/em>, and a stretch of Roman paving is still visible near the property.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

“We had a smashing week in March staying in the cosy villa style apartments. When we arrived we were met by her, her wonderful mum, the lovely dogs and cats and a chorus of frogs singing in the lake!
