Our Tuscan Country Kitchen: Authenticity, Non-Waste and Passion for the Territory
If you love good Tuscan country cooking, authentic local flavors and zero-mile organic produce, you’ve come to the right place.
Nestled in the pristine hills of the Tuscan Valtiberina, our agriturismo celebrates the traditional cuisine of a borderland where Tuscany, Umbria and Romagna meet in an embrace of flavors, knowledge and seasons. Our recipes tell family and country stories, passed down from generation to generation with passion and dedication. From Romagna potato tortelli, Umbrian sausage with fennel, Tuscan ribollita to castagnaccio, each dish is a tribute to the culinary traditions that have marked our history. Each bite is a journey into family memories rooted in the earth and in the expert hands of our grandmothers and mothers, custodians of recipes that have made the history of our Tuscan peasant cuisine.
We strongly believe in the philosophy of not wasting and recycling food, inherited from the wisdom of past generations. In our kitchens nothing goes to waste: stale bread becomes the star of soups and meatballs, seasonal vegetables are transformed into preserves, sauces and fillings. This attention is not only an ethical gesture, but also a rediscovery of the authentic value of food, its connection to the earth and respect for those who grow it.
Cooking with what you have, making the most of every ingredient and breathing life back into leftovers is an integral part of our identity. It is the way we pay homage to the earth, to our roots and to the future we want to leave to our children: more conscious, more sustainable, more good.
Breakfast: Organic, Local, Traditional

Our cuisine comes directly from the land we cultivate with passion. Vegetables, fruit, chestnuts, wine, and extra virgin olive oil come exclusively from our organic farm, as do the ingredients used to prepare our rich peasant breakfasts each morning.
Every day, we welcome you with the smell of freshly baked bread and homemade cakes made with flours from ancient grains, fresh eggs and jams made from our own fruit. On the table you will find fluffy cakes, rustic cookies, fruit tarts, organic honey and natural juices, as well as yogurt, cereals and fresh seasonal fruit.
For those who enjoy savory foods, we offer a selection of local cured meats, raw milk cheeses, butter and eggs from free-range chickens. And there is no shortage of vegetarian and vegan options, designed with the same care and attention to quality.
Breakfast is a special moment, designed to start the day with calm, taste and authenticity, surrounded by the silence and scents of the Tuscan countryside.
Tuscan Country Cooking: Event Evenings
Two evenings a week, at our farmhouse nestled in the rolling hills of the Valtiberina, we organize event evenings where food becomes celebration and sharing. On these special occasions, we welcome local producers directly on site, who talk about and let people taste their products, offering unique and authentic experiences. Themed dinners and guided tastings enliven the evenings in a warm and familiar atmosphere. Each appointment is a journey into the flavors, stories and traditions of our land. Come experience a moment of true conviviality, among taste, culture and passion for Tuscan country cooking.
DRY AGED Evening: The Art of Rolled Meat and Florentine Steak.
An evening dedicated to those who love meat in its most refined and authentic expression. The star of this unique experience is an exclusive selection of local meats from farms that respect the highest standards of ethicality and animal welfare. Each piece is the result of careful processing, which guarantees not only a superior quality product, but also respect for the environment and for the animals, raised in a sustainable and natural way. La famous florentine steak, made from the finest meat and subjected to the innovative process of maturation DRY AGED, is left to mature for 5-8 weeks. This process reduces moisture, concentrating flavor and improving tenderness and texture to maximize the meat’s organoleptic characteristics and provide you with an experience of intense and unique flavors.
During the evening, Florentine steak is barbecued in front of you, according to tradition, to maximize its quality and aroma. The open grill adds warmth, atmosphere and showmanship to an experience that engages all the senses.

Guiding guests on this journey will be Maurizio and Catia, expert butchers and meat producers, who will share secrets, cuts, and trivia from the world of traditional curing and processing.
Paired with seasonal side dishes and selected wines complete the menu, designed to enhance the excellence of raw materials with simplicity and respect.
Tuscan Apericena and Wine Tasting

An evening of taste, simplicity and good wine. An authentic Tuscan apericena awaits you with organic products and local specialties, the result of a short and sustainable supply chain. Our kitchen has prepared for you a journey of flavors that celebrates tradition with a touch of artisanal care: selected cured meats from small local producers, naturally aged raw milk cheeses, rustic crostini with liver pate, organic honey and homemade jams.
This is followed by a hot main course inspired by country traditions, such as our Chianina stew with Sangiovese or ribollita revisited with whole grain bread made from ancient grains. Each course is designed to enhance the aromas and flavors of the wines being tasted, creating harmonious pairings between food and glass.
From the vineyard to the bottle, wine becomes the common thread of a sensory journey among country scents, peasant knowledge and passion for the territory. A convivial moment to discover the most sincere Tuscany, toasting together among stories, flavors and raised glasses.
Making this experience unique will be Corrado, a passionate winemaker and custodian of the land, who will lead you in a tasting of three selected wines: labels produced directly by him and by us in the vineyards here at Le Ceregne, we are two realities that believe in a viticulture that respects the environment and natural rhythms. Organic, ethical wines, authentic expressions of small wineries where we cultivate the land with passion and make wine with artisanal care.
