Leda, the owner of the farm, will guide you on a fascinating journey that begins directly from the olive groves of her Tuscan estate in Anghiari, where you can observe the olive trees and learn about the varieties that produce this fine oil. You will then continue to the mill, where she will explain how the olives are transformed into oil using traditional methods and modern processing techniques.
During the visit, you will have the opportunity to participate in a guided olive oil tasting, where Leda, an expert olive oil taster, will teach you how to recognize good extra virgin olive oil by distinguishing its characteristics through its scent and taste. You will discover the secrets of choosing the right bottle and how to appreciate the different nuances of flavor that high-quality olive oil can offer.
At the end of the tour, you can enjoy baked goods prepared with extra virgin olive oil, ancient Verna wheat flour, and sourdough. This Tuscan olive oil tasting experience combines tradition, authentic flavors, and a passion for the land!
What Our Guests Are Saying:
“For my kids, this base in Tuscany was perfect with archery, biking, cats (lot’s of them), making perfect pasta and pizza in the cooking class.
Giada was a perfect host and it was great to sit with her after our cooking class and chat about what life in Tuscany is all about. Thank you for your hospitality!” – Praneeth
“The farm is beautiful and the proprietor and her employees were delightful. We took a cooking class on the farm that was fabulous and lots of fun. We also went for an olive oil tasting-and wine tasting that was arranged through the farm. I highly recommend staying here.” – Amalia
“Staying at Giada’s Le Ceregne Bio reserve was clearly the highlight of our trip to Italy. The organized a Cheese, Olive oil and wine experience for my family which we enjoyed very much. She also taught us to cook pasta and pizza at the cooking class. We loved every minute of our stay with Giada.” – Diana
