The guided tour is both an educational and immersive journey that begins with a brief and captivating theoretical introduction to truffles and their ecosystem. Then, we’ll head into the woods, beneath majestic oak trees, to experience the thrill of truffle hunting in Tuscany firsthand. Aris, our trained dog, will lead you through the underbrush, where you’ll witness his incredible sense of smell and the exciting moment when a truffle is uncovered.
The tour lasts about 2 hours and is a perfect adventure for all ages—ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends. As we walk through the woods of the Valtiberina, we may come across playful squirrels, deer, pheasants, and hares, adding a magical touch to the experience.
At the end of the truffle hunt, we will leave you a portion of the truffles found, so you will have the opportunity to prepare and enjoy a delicious meal with the prized truffles of Valtiberina to end this sensory adventure on a high note.
